Behavioural Insights: Capstone Project
Earners of this badge are able to:
• Scope behavioural problems, including identifying a problem, evaluating its fit for a Behavioural Insights approach, determining an appropriate scope, and navigating an approval process with project partners.
• Conduct exploratory secondary research, including designing, conducting, and analyzing academic literature reviews and cross-jurisdictional scans to understand the behavioural context of a problem.
• Conduct exploratory qualitative research, including designing, conducting, and analyzing surveys and interviews to understand the behavioural context of a problem.
• Design and implement a Behavioural Insights solution to shift behaviour by developing a problem-specific theory of behaviour and a related theory of behaviour change, and choosing Behavioural Insights tools appropriate to these theories.
• Design and conduct a rigorous evaluation, such as a randomized controlled trial (RCT) or quasi-experiment, and data collection plan to measure the impact of a Behavioural Insights solution on changing behaviour.
• Conduct basic descriptive and inferential statistical analyses to understand, interpret, visualize, and communicate the efficacy of a Behavioural Insights solution.
