Structured Project Management

Earners of this badge are able to: • Map out the primary processes and steps used to initiate a project, create a project plan, manage and control project execution, and bring a project to a formal close • Create a project charter that includes project objectives, methods, and key stakeholders, • Gather project requirements and develop a project scope statement / Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), • Create a plan for a project and ensure the different parts of the plan are aligned and compatible with each other (scope, schedule, budget, resources, etc.), • Monitor project progress, identify 'variance' and propose appropriate corrective actions to keep the project on track, • Formally manage change requests and keep the plan and team aligned with the project’s current reality, and • Formally close a project and collate appropriate 'lessons learned'
